ROMA — Proclamando la \u201calegr\u00eda del encuentro\u201d, los franciscanos seglares de todo el mundo iniciaron su Cap\u00edtulo General en el Seraphicum el 9 de noviembre con la Santa Misa.<\/p>\n

\u201cHemos anhelado reunirnos\u201d, dijo el celebrante, Fray \u0218tefan Acatrinei, OFM Conv., a los 103 asistentes. \u201cY ahora estamos felices de estar juntos\u201d.<\/p>\n

Es una \u201calegr\u00eda del encuentro\u201d que \u201cno hubiera sido posible si no nos hubi\u00e9ramos encontrado antes San Francisco.\u201d<\/p>\n

Los franciscanos rebosan de alegr\u00eda porque el propio Francisco hab\u00eda \u201crebosado de alegr\u00eda\u201d tras encontrarse con Cristo y con las palabras del Evangelio que le impulsaron en su camino de fe.<\/p>\n

Se\u00f1alando el tema del cap\u00edtulo, \u201cT\u00fa eres amor\u201d, fray \u0218tefan dijo: \u201cNo hay duda de que hemos venido aqu\u00ed impulsados por el amor\u201d. Es un reflejo de la misericordia de Dios y de la salvaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de Cristo, que \u201cno es m\u00e1s que el fruto del amor puro de Dios por nosotros\u201d<\/p>\n

Fray \u0218tefan es asistente espiritual general de la Orden Franciscana Seglar en todo el mundo, y forma parte del Consejo ejecutivo internacional, o Presidencia.<\/p>\n

El Cap\u00edtulo General, que se celebra cada tres a\u00f1os, tiene lugar del 9 al 16 de noviembre.<\/p>\n
